British Columbia Law Enforcement “Ride to Remember”

The Ride to Remember was first established by the Niagara Regional Police Service in 2000 and has grown to now represent 23 police agencies with 125 participants. The British Columbia Law Enforcement Memorial committee made the decision to include a Ride to Remember as part of the Memorial activities as way to bolster participation and provide members with another alternative to commemorate fallen colleagues.

This year the fully supported ride will be held in Victoria B. C. on Saturday September 26th. The 105km route will take riders on a tour of the Victoria water front and the roads that are often used for training rides for many of the local cycling clubs. We will be stopping at Sidney RCMP, Central Saanich Police, Saanich Police Victoria Police, the Bastion, and the Oak Bay Police Department.

I'm looking for both volunteers and ride hosts who can help guide the group (the route has been created in Strava). Please contact me directly at 250.882.1703 or by email at icraib@gmail.com.

I'm working on having this ride fully escorted.....

Ian
